Transfer and reentry applicants who do not satisfy Queens College’s general admissions criteria, who have been out of college for at least three years, and who demonstrate a high level of motivation may be eligible for admission through Fresh Start. Students do not need to place transcript requests for offices or academic departments within Queens College, including Queens College’s Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions Offices. Transcript requests from alumni who attended Queens College prior to 1991 require additional time for processing.
At Queens College, you can choose from 69 undergraduate programs, or consult faculty advisors about designing your own interdisciplinary major. Academically gifted students are eligible for a variety of honors programs, including Macaulay Honors College, which provides full tuition, a free laptop, study abroad programs, and other benefits.
