Nov 28, 2020 · Edward Scissorhands is a largely dialogue-less role. 20th Century Fox Edward Scissorhands isn't exactly the loquacious type. Throughout the movie, the leading role doesn't have many lines at all.
When Edward first arrives the locals accepted him and he became a famed hair/bush stylist. In the end they turn on him and see him for what he looks like, a monster. My rating for this film: 10/10. 9/10. the rise and fall of Edward Scissorhands and the inhabitants of a small town. dbdumonteil 1 February 2003.

In the present with the introduction of more characters like Joyce, Kim and Jim the audience sees Edward's character grow and then ultimately come to an end due to his futile attempts to be a good citizen.
