Jul 10, 2020 · Unless your computer has a GPS built in, your software really has no idea where you are. So it has to guess, basing itself on whatever information it knows about you from how you've used your computer in the past. Often, those guesses are really good. Other times they are hilarious.
Jun 9, 2024 · My default location is set correctly in Windows; it makes no difference to Edge. If I use Chrome or Firefox, the websites will show my correct location. All my other devices are connected via WiFi, which of course uses a different system, so there is no problem with location.
