I've got almost everything figured except SOLOING of singles or groups of channels. I've consulted the manual a lot..... how do I get the little red "SOLO" light to come on in the Monitor ...

Jun 22, 2024 · What should be record setting be set to? The DR-40X is connected on the Record out on the mixer by RCA and then the RCA turns into a XLR. The XLR for each L/R speaker connect to each appropriate side.
Jun 23, 2024 · I’ve got a Tascam 644, that’s actually sort of working. I have loads of analog tracks on various cassettes, all stamped with Tascams own sync on track 4. (FSK, MC…. or whatever) I also have an old (midi interface) Steinberg SMP 24, firmware 1,6, that also is indeed working. It is supposed to transfer the sync code to the DAW.
