Feb 14, 2020 · This time that awesomeness is Ron Shelton. He achieved fame as the writer and director for 1988’s Bull Durham, certainly one of my favorite films of the decade. His screenplay (which was amazingly his first draft done without any notes or outline) deservedly earned him an Oscar nomination and firmly planted him on the Hollywood map.
