Jackson and Walsh would’ve probably come up with a mediocre but decent adaptation of the characters overall on average, Boyens clearly dragged the whole thing down with her own arrogance (she did say they did better than the books, which is laughable). Boyens is the worst writer that’s ever approached anything from Tolkien.
