The Management-Engineering program is designed for students who want a liberal arts background, an emphasis on economics and management, and major in engineering. The students spend their first three years (at least 24 courses) at Claremont McKenna College, where they take mathematics, science, economics, management, and general education courses.
On Campus Interviews. First-year applicant interviews are available from May of junior year to mid-December of senior year at Claremont McKenna College. Interviews are not required for admission. Interviews are evaluative, but also provide an excellent opportunity to speak one-on-one with a CMC admission officer or current student interviewer.
Deferring Enrollment to Claremont McKenna. Students may wish to defer their enrollment (also known as taking a gap year) to Claremont McKenna for a year, up to two years, after admission.
