She died peacefully on Friday the 13th of October 2023 in the Palliative Care Unit at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario. She was 93 years old. Liz was predeceased by the love of her life, Joe, in 2008. She also deeply missed her daughter, Susan DeNure, who died in 2011.
