St Edmund's College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in England. Founded in 1896, it is the second-oldest of the three Cambridge colleges oriented to mature students, which accept only students reading for postgraduate degrees or for undergraduate degrees if aged 21 years or older.

The origins of St Edmund’s College lie in the repeal of the Test Act in 1871, permitting Jewish, Non-Conformist and Roman Catholic scholars to return to the University of Cambridge for the first time since the religious revolution of the sixteenth century.

May 15, 2024 · St Edmund’s College elects The Hon. Matthew Bullock as its new Master. 2014-01-24 . The Hon. Matthew Bullock has been elected as Master of St Edmund’s College, Cambridge. He will take up office in October 2014 and succeeds Professor Paul Luzio, who has been Master since 2004.
