Mark Nichols (born February 22, 1964) is an American playwright, composer, and lyricist, best known for his musicals Little Boy Goes to Hell (1988), Joe Bean (2003), and How to Survive the Apocalypse (2009).
Composer at first, then became a cinematographer and later animator. Spent early professional years in Seattle where he wrote and produced a dozen published operas, including Little Boy Goes to Hell, Joe Bean, Caucasian Chalk Circle, How to Survive the Apocalypse: A Burning Opera.
