The caramel drizzle really makes this recipe but your could add a cream cheese frosting, just sprinkle on some powdered sugar or add my basic powdered sugar glaze recipe.
These bars are a perfect option to replace apple pie as a plated dessert at Thanksgiving or Christmas. The homemade butter caramel sauce inside the bars and on top really adds sparkle.
