Jun 2, 2020 · Darren calling Chris a lady is an inside joke with the cast because they say he acts more like a grandma than a middle aged dude. The “Boy Without a Penis” joke was blown wayyyy out of proportion. He said he wrote joke songs in elementary school to make his friends laugh.

I mean its the name of one of the characters in What We Do In The Shadows, which is very popular, so I imagine most people would pronounce it the way it's said in that.
