To send them a file that's larger than your space, just have them send you a File Request instead. You don't need an account to send a file through a request. If they're a Basic user, there's a 2GB limit files sent through a request.

Feb 2, 2022 · Dropbox needs to look into this though, it seems to be unsyncing random assets from my projects when I haven't told it to. I clicked Start, then scrolled down the list of all programs, left-click+drag the Dropbox icon onto my Desktop.
