Dr. Stephanie Nairn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Central Florida. Her research has spanned several topical areas in Sociology including medical sociology, science and technology studies, and consumption and food studies.

From 2012-2015, he performed postdoctoral research on attosecond and ultrashort pulse laser science in the groups of Zenghu Chang and Martin Richardson. He joined the faculty in the Department of Physics at the University of Central Florida in Fall 2015, where he is currently an Associate Professor.
My goal as an advocate is to make all students feel welcome, safe, and empowered to reach their goals. I graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations and then went on to pursue my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with a focus in Student Personnel.
