9 hours ago · On 20 January 2012, the league announced that the St. Louis Rams would become a temporary tenant of Wembley Stadium, playing an annual game at the stadium every year from 2012 to 2014; part of the reason the Rams were chosen was that the team is owned by Stan Kroenke, who also is majority shareholder in a local Premier League team, Arsenal.
With the exception of Kroenke, I think the owners of STL sports are all from STL. Kroenke was born in CoMO, but Stillman, DeWitt and Kavanaugh from STL SC are all from STL. Not sure about the other owners. And even when that toupee wearing asshole had the Rams here, he lived in STL. Georgia Frontiere who owned the Rams till 2010 was from STL.
