Regina Ziegler (born 8 March 1944) is a German film and television producer. Life and career. Born in Quedlinburg, the daughter of a journalist, Ziegler briefly studied law at the Free University of Berlin, before dropping her studies to work at the Sender Freies Berlin as a production assistant.

To this day, Regina Ziegler oversaw more than 200 feature film productions, plus numerous television dramas, miniseries, shows and documentaries. She initiated the short film series "Erotic Tales", which featured woks by renowned international filmmakers like Nicolas Roeg, Ken Russell, Hal Hartley and Susan Seidelman.
