Nattawut "Baz" Poonpiriya (Thai: นัฐวุฒิ พูนพิริยะ, born 1981) is a Thai director, working extensively on television commercials and music videos, but best known for the films Countdown, Bad Genius and One for the Road.
Nov 9, 2017 · Nattawut Poonpiriya นัฐวุฒิ พูนพิริยะ graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in stage directing from Srinakharinwirot University. He worked on a variety of projects afterwards including television commercials and music videos before directing his first film, Countdown (2012).
Aside from directing short films and viral videos, including iSTORIES for Honda, he has two thriller features, Countdown (2012), which won three categories at Suphannahong National Film awards, and Chalard Games Goeng or Bad Genius (2017), which won a record-breaking twelve categories.
