Pedro Lucero de Godoy, son of Juan López de Godoy and Ynés Gonzalez Jaramillo, was baptized in 1599 in Mexico City, Mexico. He came to New Mexico in 1617 as a soldier. He married Petronilla de Zamora, daughter of Bartolomé de Montoya Nd Maria de Zamora, in about 1621 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
