Jarvis Collegiate Institute is a high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is named after Jarvis Street where it is located. It is a part of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB).
Founded in 1807, Jarvis CI was the first public high school in Toronto and has a long tradition of academic excellence and student involvement. Jarvis is committed to providing a rich and varied program encouraging critical thinking as well as developing research and communication skills.
Jarvis offers a wide range of courses, programs, and extra-curricular activities. As a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) school, the students in our classrooms are engaged in project-based learning.
