Sean Sexton Cunningham (born December 31, 1941) [a] is an American film director, producer, and writer. He is best known for directing and producing several horror films, beginning in the early 1970s.
Sean S. Cunningham is a filmmaker who directed Friday the 13th (1980) and The Last House on the Left (1972), among other horror and comedy films. He also produced many sequels and spin-offs of his works, as well as other projects such as House (1985) and Jason X (2001).
