Infectious Music was established in 1993 as Infectious Records by former Zerra One drummer Korda Marshall after leaving Bertelsmann (BMG-Ariola, the original major label BMG company), where he was the A&R manager of RCA Records and was involved with the running of Dave Stewart's AnXious label.
Oct 27, 2017 · Korda Marshall started his music business journey in 1983, fresh out of a band, when he joined RCA as a talent scout. From there, he rose to Head of A&R at the company, before creating his own label, Infectious Records, and entering into a JV with Mushroom Records.

Korda Marshall harbours two distinct, sometimes warring, personalities. First, there’s the A&R extraordinaire with an independent heart; the owner of – as the industry adage would have it – ‘great ears’, who discovered Muse, Ash, Alt-J, Garbage and The Temper Trap before anyone else had a sniff.
