Mar 18, 2022 · Northey’s 2001 debut solo album, Giddy Up, is EP adjacent, with its 8 songs adding up to just under 29 minutes. It was all fresh to me here in 2022 as I had not heard of it before a few weeks ago, and it certainly marches to a different drum than Odds had. In fact, “the drum” is sometimes a machine.

In 1997, Northey wrote the entrance music for Bret Hart after he joined WCW. After the breakup of Odds in 1999, Northey embarked on several other ventures, including working with Colin James, Rosanne Cash, Glen Phillips, Bruce McCulloch and many others. He released a solo CD entitled Giddy Up.
Jul 22, 2018 · In 2002 he released his first solo album entitled "Giddy Up". The eight track album featured a version of "Write it in Lightning" a song written for The Who. Giddy Up was followed in 2004 by a collaboration with Jesse Valenzuela of The Gin Blossoms.
