Apr 2, 2013 · On the weekend, Lori Ravensborg will be honoured for The Long Road at the Canada International Film Festival in Vancouver. “I am looking forward to the experience and it’s nice to be an arena where you feel primarily the artist,” said Ravensborg, who is a Red Deer College part-time instructor, a mother, an actor and a writer.
Sep 7, 2023 · Lori Ravensborg, a professor and program coordinator at Niagara College, helped design the Goettler Family Foundation Film Academy for the Yellow Door Theatre Project. The academy, launched on Sept. 15, aims to teach filmmaking skills to young people and is led by alumni Carter Vahrmeyer.
Lori has been integrating Meisner Technique into the Acting for Film and Television program at Niagara College School of Media (since fall 2016) and supporting the graduating students in their final courses and film projects before emerging into industry- she continues to audition for occasional film and television projects when time permits.
Since graduating, Lori has worked in theatre, film and television in New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary.
