Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) is a national film school established in 1984 by Korean Film Council (KOFIC) in South Korea. The main goal of KAFA is to focus on fostering professional filmmakers through highly selective and intensive education with field-centered training programs.
Korean Academy of Film Arts FUND. The KAFA Development Fund Foundation was established in 2006 to contribute to the institute’s growth and development. The foundation provides scholarship programs for KAFA students while also supporting the production of films and a range of other academic and artistic activities.
In 1984, the Korean Film Council established Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) as the cradle for highly trained and creative professionals. The students at KAFA are young filmmakers who are filled with passion for film.
