Ronny Abraham (French:; born 5 September 1951) is a French academic and practitioner in the field of public international law who was elected to the International Court of Justice, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of judge and former President Gilbert Guillaume. He served the remainder of Guillaume's which ended on 5 February 2009, and was reelected for a term extending to 2018.

Ronny Abraham est diplômé de l' Institut d’études politiques de Paris en 1973. Il poursuit ses études en droit et obtient un diplôme d'études supérieures de droit public de l' université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne en 1974. Il est admis à l' École nationale d'administration en 1976.

Jul 2, 2024 · Ronny Abraham is a French jurist and professor of public international law. He has served as a judge, a director of legal affairs, and a member of the French delegation to the UN, and became the President of the International Court of Justice in 2015.
In his presentation Mr Abraham underlined that during 2016 the ICJ experienced a high level of judicial activity and he observed that most of these cases relate to preliminary objections concerning either jurisdiction or admissibility of certain claims.
