Not to be confused with the Eiken the anime, Eiken has been an established studiohouse since the 60's, producing shows that were great for the time, but don't necessarily hold up today.

Apr 10, 2005 · One of the first Japanese animation studio of importance was Nippon Douga founded in 1948 and renamed to Nidou Eiga in 1952, which was then bought by Toei Company in 1956 and renamed to Toei Douga (Toei Animation outside of Japan). Eiken is an animation production company previously known as TCJ, renamed to Eiken in 1973.
