J.C.Staff Co., Ltd. ( Japanese: 株式会社ジェー・シー・スタッフ, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Jē Shī Sutaffu, J and C stand for "Japan Creative") is a Japanese animation studio founded in January 1986 by Tomoyuki Miyata, who previously worked at Tatsunoko Production. The studio's first release was Yōtōden in 1987.

Jan 31, 2024 · The best J.C. Staff anime are a deep mix of knee-slapping comedies, touching slice of life, fantasy, and everything in between. As one of the best studios in anime history, J.C. Staff has had opportunities time and again to work with some of the biggest names in manga and the anime industry.
To be honest, I’ve never thought of JC Staff as one of the top anime studios. But that doesn’t mean it’s devoid of quality production and adaptations. A quick look at its entire catalog proves that they’ve contributed excellent shows and movies throughout the 30+ years of JC’s history.
