The Anderson Monarchs would be a feature length documentary about this all-girls soccer team competing, living, and thriving in an at-risk urban neighborhood in Philadelphia. The Anderson Monarchs are underdogs fighting a battle to change their lives.
Our Mission: We provide underserved youth with opportunities to develop to their fullest potential athletically, academically, and as leaders in their community. Our Model: We start young, play multiple sports, and keep kids involved year-round through high school and beyond.
Nov 6, 2019 · More will join in the next few years: The oldest members of his most successful team, featuring household name Mo’ne Davis, left for college this fall. A remarkable nine players from the 2019 and 2020 graduating classes will play Division I baseball, and Davis is playing D1 softball at Hampton.

Formed in 1995, the Anderson Monarchs are a sports-based youth development organization based in South Philadelphia. In the ensuing years, Monarchs programs have provided athletic and educational opportunities to thousands of underserved youth in Philadelphia.
