Overview. A boy tells his parents that a bus conductor turned him off the bus home for not having a ticket. The story gets out of control and the conductor, a war veteran with memory problems, is harassed until events take a tragic turn.
When schoolboy Mickey (Dennis Waterman) tells a white lie about being refused entry on the bus by the conductor (Kenneth Griffith), it sets of a series of events that lead to tragic consequences, in this drama co-starring Gordon Jackson, Zena Walker and Daphne Anderson.
