A Los Angeles police officer who takes a vacation in a small desert community every summer, becomes a prime suspect in a bizarre murder investigation.
Vacationing psycho cop (Michael Parks) is an opportunistic serial killer, whose visits to a small desert town coincide with disappearances and unsolved homicides.
