In 1953, a young girl named Maureen Connolly won the Grand Slam of tennis. She was the first woman to ever capture this elusive crown by winning the Australian Championships, the French Championships, Wimbledon, and the United States Championships.
A fact-based drama about the tennis great who, as a teenager, was the first woman to win the Grand Slam of Tennis, became world-renowned as "Little Mo," and died of cancer in 1969 at the age of thirty-four. Anne Baxter replaced Lana Turner in the part of Maureen's mother.
