Twenty-five-year-old Elizabeth Richmond is a mousy office worker at the Los Angeles County Museum who suffers from severe headaches and insomnia. Elizabeth's distress is compounded by the malicious and threatening notes signed "Lizzie" she has been receiving, but co-worker Ruth Seaton assures her the notes are merely pranks.
