Curtis's Charm is a 1995 Canadian comedy-drama film written and directed by John L'Ecuyer in his directorial debut. The film won a special jury citation for Best Canadian Feature Film at the 1995 Toronto International Film Festival.
In a series of vignettes that move between ultra-realism and fantasy, Jim helps Curtis develop a "lucky charm" with which to protect himself against his revenge-seeking, voodoo-practicing mother in-law. Jim is shocked to find that his talisman is beginning to have effects on both Curtis and him.

Curtis is a drug addict who has become paranoid, thinking that his wife's mother has cast evil spells on him. He meets his friend Jim and asks him for help in counteracting her black magic. Jim tries to reason with his friend, but when that fails, he decides to play along and make him a talisman.
