A Minute to Pray, a Second to Die (Italian: Un minuto per pregare, un istante per morire) is a 1968 Italian Spaghetti Western. It is the fourth and last western directed by Franco Giraldi. It was originally intended as being directed by Sergio Corbucci and the cast was to include also Raffaella Carrà and Renzo Palmer.
With Alex Cord, Arthur Kennedy, Robert Ryan, Enzo Fiermonte. In Tuscosa, New Mexico, the Governor offers amnesty papers to all outlaws but gunfighter Clay McCord's appearance triggers a violent confrontation between the local marshal, McCord, and other outlaws.

In the New Mexico Territory around 1870, gunman Clay McCord, who has a $10,000 dead-or-alive reward on his head, fears that he is doomed to die from periodic attacks of paralysis reminiscent of the epileptic fits that killed his father.
Synopsis. A famous gunman decides to change his life around and turn himself in when amnesty is declared by the new governor of the New Mexico Territory, but a vindictive sheriff sets out to stop him from reaching the Territory.
