There Sam, who was merely faking the ache, goes to see his girl friend Connie, who has just been fired from her cannery job for resisting her boss's sexual demands.

The story started to remind me of The Postman Always Rings Twice but didn't turn out that way and that was fine with me. I liked this story. Two men and a woman form a triangle confined by a lighthouse.
