Hitman: Agent 47 is a 2015 action thriller film directed by Aleksander Bach (in his directorial debut) and written by Skip Woods (who also wrote the original 2007 Hitman film) and Michael Finch.
Agent 47 (also known as "The Hitman", "XAO47" and "Mr. 47", or simply by his birth name "47", as well as many aliases) is the titular protagonist of the Hitman series. He is a professional hitman and was the former top agent for the International Contract Agency, until he exposed agency information to the public, ending them permanently.
Known only as Agent 47 (Rupert Friend), his latest target is a corporation that plans to unlock the secret of his past to create an army of killers even more powerful than him.
