Moontrap is an American 1989 science fiction film produced by Magic Films. Written by Tex Ragsdale and directed by Robert Dyke, it was released on April 28 at WorldFest Houston. A comic book adaptation, featuring the film's production notes, was released in the same year by Caliber Comics.
A sci-fi movie about two astronauts who discover an ancient alien civilization and a deadly robot on the moon. They face a race against time to stop the robot from destroying Earth and find a way to escape the moon.
