The Rengstorff House is a Victorian Italianate mansion with a garden setting, located within Shoreline at Mountain View, a wildlife and recreation area. It offers indoor and outdoor spaces for events up to 150 guests, with ornate decor, catering kitchen, and wedding arch.
June 13, 1978. The Rengstorff House was one of the first houses to be built in Mountain View, California. It was built c. 1867 by Henry Rengstorff, a prominent local businessman who operated a ferry between San Francisco and Mountain View. It is built in the Italianate Victorian architecture style.
Rengstorff House is a fully-restored Victorian Italianate home with a hip roof, central gable, portico and 19th-century décor. It offers venue rental for weddings and other events, with a white wedding arch, catering kitchen, designated couple’s suite and a lakeside area.
