Blixa Bargeld is a German artist who has worked as a singer, musician, composer, actor and director. He is best known as the lead vocalist of Einstürzende Neubauten and a former member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
On 1 April 1980, Einstürzende Neubauten made their first appearance, at the Moon Club in West Berlin. [4] This first lineup featured Beate Bartel and Gudrun Gut, Blixa Bargeld, and N.U. Unruh. The two female members, Bartel and Gut, left the band after a short period and founded Mania D.
As a construct or entity, EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN is one of the few German bands that internationally sends out a genuine impulse via its unique trendsetting mix.
