UWC Adriatic is the first UWC to be set up in a non-English speaking country. It offers a UWC education with an immersive Italian experience, a music academy, and a village setting in the heart of Europe.
UWC Adriatic offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) curriculum. Alongside standard courses, the College offers Arabic, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovene, World Arts and Cultures, Environmental Systems, Psychology, Visual Arts and Music.
UWC Adriatic is open to students of all nationalities who are looking for a pre-university education in a multi-cultural, values-based environment. To be admitted to a UWC, a young person must successfully undergo a selection process based solely on merit and potential.
At UWC Adriatic we therefore promote a values-based education across five strands of our educational programme: Academic programme; Service-based Learning; Ecological and Outdoor Education; Engagement in Physical and Cultural Activities; Social and Emotional Learning.
