The Corner Bar is an American sitcom that aired as a summer-replacement series on ABC-TV in 1972 and 1973. The show, created by comedian Alan King and veteran comedy writer Herb Sargent, was co-produced by King and comedian Howard Morris. The center of activity is a New York City tavern called Grant's Toomb [sic].

One of Fred's taxi passengers could be the carrier of a highly contagious disease. Having potentially exposed everyone at the tavern, Frank and the gang are quarantined together. Unfortunately, annoying stranger Henrietta, who just stopped in to use the pay phone, finds herself trapped with them, too.
Fri, Aug 31, 1973. The police are called to The Corner Bar, where Frank and Mae report a theft. The bar itself has been stolen, and Mae gives the officer a detailed description of the missing mahogany. Later, a phone call comes from a kidnapper, who claims he is holding the bar for $2000 ransom.
