About Us. Steffenino Orchard was started by John, Martha and Isabella Steffenino in 2004. Plantings were done on a surface mine site reclaimed in 2000 by the State of PA using Super Fund Money. The orchard features 4500 apple and pear trees planted on 15 acres. Two ponds are used to supply water for spraying and irrigation.
