Jesus College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college's full name is The College of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint John the Evangelist and the glorious Virgin Saint Radegund, near Cambridge. Its common name comes from the name of its chapel, Jesus Chapel.
Jesus College is on a single large site on a quiet side street in the centre of Cambridge. It was established between 1496 and 1516 on the site of the twelfth-century Benedictine nunnery of St Mary and St Radegund whose buildings, which included a huge church, were adapted to house it.

Jesus College. Our students say the best things about Jesus College are the mix of people, the relaxed atmosphere, and our location in the heart of Cambridge. We admit around 145 undergraduates a year, across all subjects studied at the University, with roughly equal numbers in arts and sciences.
