Nearly two-thirds of youth aged 15 to 24 in Canada reported that the pandemic harmed their mental health. On the other hand, teens with a stronger connection to nature coped better with the challenges of the pandemic.
In 2023, we served more than 4,000 youth across Canada through our spring and summer youth programs and our school and groups programs. Approximately 75% of these individuals or groups required financial assistance from OBC to get outside.
