Students taking a full course load can complete the MPS in two years, though students can take longer if they desire. Students entering the program without all the required pre-requisite courses should expect to complete the program in three or more years. Students must complete all requirements within seven years from their start date.

Designed in the early 1900s by Herbert A. Magoon, the building is a collegiate Gothic style that can be seen among early British universities.
St. Stephen’s College, an undergraduate and graduate theological school founded by the United Church of Canada, established by Provincial Charter, has been affiliated with the University since 1908 and works on a broadly ecumenical and interfaith basis, integrating faith and theology with practice and experience.
