Background: Vanguard Animation is an animation studio founded in 2002 by John H. Williams (known for producing the first two Shrek films) and Neil Braun.
Logo: On an ocean blue/cyan-textured solidate background, we see the letters of "VANGUARD" coming (jumping, rolling, tottering) in. Each is made from clay-like material and some attachments. They bounce around before standing still. The letters look much like the ones in the Pee Wee Pictures logo. After the letters bounce into place, the letter "G" and the white word "ANIMATION" fall down.
FX/SFX: The letters and words bouncing in.
Variants: On Space Chimps for DS, the logo is still on a white background.
Music/Sounds: The bouncing of the letters and words, accompanied by various cartoon sounds. On Valiant, the opening theme of the movie plays over.
Logo: On a blue background, the word "VANGUARD", in it's usual font, resides at the center of the screen. Then, a robotic arm (The Infinity Probe from the movie) pushes the logo into the Freznar, a liquid metal-type substance from the Planet Malgor. The letters are all silver now, and "A VANGUARD ANIMATION FILM" appears below, in the same silver font.
FX/SFX: Liquid metal moving.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Only seen on Space Chimps.
Logo: Just the VANGUARD word in the custom style, without any other words or animation.
