   What happened to Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley?

   • The park grounds and Jeffrey Mansion were left to the City of Bexley by the Robert H. Jeffrey family in 1941. The Jeffrey family donated 34 acres provided that it be used as a park space for playgrounds, recreation and education. In 1968 the City of Bexley moved the Recreation and Parks Department into Jeffrey Mansion and onto the grounds.
