The Man Who Loved Yngve (Norwegian: Mannen som elsket Yngve) is a Norwegian film released on 15 February 2008. It is based on a book of the same name by Stavanger author Tore Renberg. It received critical acclaim as one of the best Norwegian movies of the year.
When a new student named Yngve starts school though, Jarle’s hitherto childish world is turned upside down: without even knowing how it happened, he finds himself choosing between the girl that everyone envies him for and a boy he doesn’t really even know that well.
