Jul 19, 2024 · Mr Maher said Amy, a former nurse at Redcliffe Hospital, was driving to pick up their daughter Abigail, 6, from school and son Alexander, 4, from daycare about 2.30pm on Friday, June 7 when her vehicle veered off the road and slammed into a tree on Caboolture River Rd, Upper Caboolture.
Amy Maher, 33, and her three-month-old baby son Arlo died after the car she was driving struck trees off Caboolture River Road in Upper Caboolture. Maher died at the scene while Arlo was rushed to the Queensland Children's Hospital in a critical condition, but died on Sunday afternoon.
