The Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association (ASAA) is a voluntary, non profit organization that has been established to coordinate a program of worthwhile athletic activities for the young people of Alberta in an educational setting.
Week #10 - 2023. The second weekend in November is when all High School and Minor Football Leagues qualifiers begin Provincial Play. Also known as the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” there will be 20 games at the high school level and 11 at the Minor Football level that Saturday.
Oct 31, 2022 · Football Alberta has released its Weekly Top-10 Rankings for all four Tiers of 12-man high school football in the province and the 6-man rankings as well for the 2022 season. These rankings will come out every weekuntil November 7.
The season of play for football shall be May 1 to the ASAA provincial championship to be held no later than the fourth Saturday in November and the preceding Friday night. The season of play is not intended to include July and August.
